Most Nigerian Music Record Labels Are Owned By Yahoo Boys - D'Banj

Nigeria’s music star and entrepreneur, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj has disclosed that most of the new generation record labels in Nigeria are founded by Yahoo boys.

D’banj, who was one of the panellists who discussed the topic, ‘Changing The Game: Artistes As Leaders’ at the 2018 Social Media Week in Lagos, said most label owners are operating blindly as they know nothing about music.

The ex-member of the defunct Mo’hits music crew further said that owners of record label do not know anything about music.

D’banj said, “Most of the new generation record labels are founded by Yahoo boys. You must understand first, why you are coming into music.

“Nigerian artistes need a lot of capacity building. It is only in Nigeria that the owner of a record label doesn’t know anything about music.”

Wizkid Flaunts His New Acquired Goat Pet Asks Fans To Suggest A Name

In a time like this, where it seems that the country is close to being dominated by lower animals as some have proven to be rather smarter than some of us, after mysteriously copping away a humongous amount of money recently, Nigerian singer, Wizkid has decided to make one his domestic pet.

The singer showed off his new and rather weird pet – a kid – on social media and everyone has been left to think… What kinda sorcery is this?!

He adorned the animal – that most Nigerians will breed to become the centre of attraction in their peppersoup – with nice jewels and asks his fans to welcome it to his family.

He also gave his fans the liberty of giving it a name… Do you have a name for it?

We’re definitely loving this brotherly bond between two of the country’s leading artistes, Davido & Wizkid after they broke the internet and dropped the jaws of many when they made a performance together at their concerts.

Everyone couldn’t get enough of the rave at that time and most of their fans are still even basking in the probability that their new found relationship could have them collaborating in songs.

Wizkid, recently welcomed a new family member, a new pet goat, and everyone were literally on the idea that should his new fam bam live through six months, they wouldn’t waste no time in making it a beauty swimming in a pool of peppersoup.

While everyone else anticipates the slaughtering of the singer’s pet, Davido couldn’t help but be amused at the kinda pet his brother in music got.

He shared the photo of Wizkid’s pet on his page and wrote:

Wizkid don buy goat oo lmao

Lol… how long do you think Wizkid’s pet will last for though?
