Transfer: Real Madrid to raise £250m after Hazard arrival to avoid Champions League ban

Transfer: Real Madrid to raise £250m after Hazard arrival to avoid Champions League ban
 www.naijavoiceofthemasses.blogspot.com

Real Madrid “must raise more than £250million in sales”, in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations (FFP) and avoid possible ban from the Champions League.

Los Blancos have already announced deals for both Luka Jovic, arriving for £62m from Frankfurt and Eden Hazard who is joining from Chelsea in a £130m move.

But according to AS, given the club want to add more high-profile additions this summer, manager Zinedine Zidane needs to shift a number of big earners out to balance the books.
Zidane is pushing for deals for both Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen.

The Premier League pair would likely cost another £200m, so Real must raise money from sales.

Up to 13 players could be moved on, with Gareth Bale, Mateo Kovacic and James Rodriguez some of the players expected to go.

Martin Odegaard and Isco also face uncertain futures at the Bernabeu, particularly given Hazard, who plays in their preferred position, has arrived as a ‘Galactico’ this summer.

Transfer: Ramon Calderon predicts Hazard’s future at Real Madrid

Transfer: Ramon Calderon predicts Hazard’s future at Real Madrid
 www.naijavoiceofthemasses.blogspot.com
Former Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon, has predicted the future of Eden Hazard at the Bernabeu.

According to him, the former Chelsea star can make a real difference for his new side.
“I think it is fantastic news for Real Madrid,” Calderon was quoted by Express Sports.

“The player is one of those that anyone would like to have on their team – good dribbling, excellent passing and he can play both flanks because he uses the two feet.

“He can play as a winger, attacking midfielder and also a false nine so it’s perfect.

“I think it has been a good opportunity to take advantage of the decision of the player to leave Chelsea.

“This is the real one, the other three [signings] I’m not quite sure but Eden Hazard is really that player that can make the difference in a team and I hope he would be able to play at the same level he has been in the Premier [League].”

The jersey number of Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard at Real Madrid has surfaced.
According to The Sun, Hazard will be wearing the famed No. 7 shirt at Real Madrid when his switch to Santiago Bernabeu is finally confirmed.

The Belgian captain will be wearing the No. 7 shirt which belonged to forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, before he left the club for Juventus last summer. The No. 7 shirt is currently under the ownership of Mariano Diaz.

Hazard is keen to join Real Madrid after he said “goodbye” to Chelsea fans, following their Europa League victory against Arsenal and is expected to put pen to paper with the La Liga giants within the next week.

It is believed that Real Madrid will pay up to £115million for the 28-year-old forward.
Speaking after Chelsea’s Europa League 4-1 win in Baku on Wednesday night, Hazard told reporters: “I’ve made my decision and I told Chelsea two weeks ago.
“I’m just waiting on both clubs to decide now.

“I think it’s a goodbye. I’ve done this for 7 years and now it’s time for a new challenge.”
Hazard is set to earn around £400,000-a-week at the Los Blancos, which tops the £300,000-a-week offer he had on the table from Chelsea.

Why Hazard ‘deserves’ move to Real Madrid – Petit

Why Hazard ‘deserves’ move to Real Madrid – Petit
Former Arsenal star, Emmanuel Petit, has revealed why Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard should make a move to Real Madrid.

Petit said that the Belgium international deserves a move to Santiago Bernabeu because for the last six years he has been marvellous for Chelsea.

According to him, the forward has been one of his best so far this season, even if he wasn’t named in the Premier League team of the year.

Hazard is expected to leave Stamford Bridge for Madrid this summer but Petit is insisting that his departure is going to leave the Blues struggling to cope without him.

“It would be a big, big loss for Chelsea if Eden Hazard left the club,” Petit told Paddy Power ahead of Chelsea’s Europa League final against Arsenal.

“For the last six years he has been marvellous for them – and this season has been one of his best so far, even if he wasn’t named in the Premier League team of the year.

“Chelsea have so many quality players, but none at Hazard’s level. He can do whatever he wants on the pitch and is capable of making decisions with the ball at his feet.
“Hazard going to Real Madrid would be a huge step for him – and he deserves it.

“But with the added complication of a transfer ban, if he goes then you look at Chelsea and wonder who is going to make the team alive on the pitch. Who is going to come up with the key dribbles, the key passes?

“Chelsea don’t have anyone else like Hazard. And because of the transfer ban, they don’t have the power to replace him. I don’t see how they can cope next year without him.”

EPL: Frustrated Eden Hazard Sends Message To "Sad" Chelsea Teammates

SPORTS NEWS
EPL: Frustrated Eden Hazard Sends Message To "Sad" Chelsea Teammates
Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard has sent message to his “sad” team-mates.
The Belgium star told his teammates that this is the time to work together to rescue Chelsea’s season.
Chelsea were unable to keep up the chase on fourth-placed Tottenham on Sunday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham.
After the draw, Chelsea were booed off by a significant number of fans.
Hazard told Chelsea’s official website, “When you see the game we did everything, especially in the first half.
“This season isn’t going well, we made some mistakes and conceded a goal. Then, in front of goal we didn’t score, so that’s it, at the end of the game it’s 1-1 and we are all sad.
“We need to work together. There are six games left to play in the league and we will try everything to be in the top four at the end of the season.
“This season a lot of the games have been the same. I remember away at Manchester United, we were in control of the game and in the end we lost.
“Last week against Tottenham, we were in control in the first half and then we lost the game, so this season isn’t going well. We need to work together.
“I hope, for the Chelsea fans and ourselves, that we can achieve something.”

Hazard Gives Chelsea The Names Of Players They Must Buy

Hazard Gives Chelsea The Names Of Players They Must Buy
Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard has admitted that he would love for Belgium team-mates; Kevin De Bruyne and Radja Nainggolan to join him at Chelsea.
Belgium are preparing to take on England in Group G at the 2018 World Cup in Russia and Roberto Martinez has a plethora of Premier League stars at his disposal.
Romelu Lukaku has already scored 22 goals in his debut season at Manchester United, while Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele is being hailed as the most complete central midfielder in the country.
However, when asked which Belgian he would most like to see at Chelsea, Hazard named Manchester City’s De Bruyne and Roma’s Nainggolan.
‘In Belgium we have players, good players. It’s not: “I play for Chelsea so I don’t talk to the guy from Tottenham” – no, we are together,’ Hazard told COPA90.
‘In football it’s like this because, if it is not like this, all the national teams are in trouble.’
De Bruyne completed a £7million move to Chelsea back in 2012 but only made three Premier League appearances before leaving for Wolfsburg.
The 26-year-old midfielder is now favourite to win PFA Player of the Year after starring for Manchester City in a sensational season under Pep Guardiola.
On his disputes with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, De Bruyne previously told The Times: ‘I just said I can play. ‘I have no statistics – two games, what do you want me to do?
‘I had a feeling I wasn’t even going to play. Even if he said you’re going to play more games, from two games I was maybe going to go to five. It was, for me, a good decision to leave. ‘For them, in the end, it was also a good decision. They sold me for more money for a player who didn’t play.’
Nainggolan, meanwhile, has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and came close to joining the Blues ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Antonio Conte has made no secret of his admiration for Nainggolan and confirmed that Chelsea failed with a bid to sign the midfielder. ‘In the past, we tried to buy him but now Nainggolan is Roma’s player,’ Conte admitted back in October.
