Simi's new photo sparks pregnancy
speculation as she's seen with a bulging stomach
Nigerian singer,
Simi shared a new photo with her stomach bulging out and her followers
bombarded her comment section with congratulatory messages while pointing out
the size of her tummy.
Some of the
commenters wrote "Simisola getti Belle" - a line from Simi's latest
song.
The singer ignored
all the comments and is yet to confirm of deny the specualtions.
‘Desperate desire for validation very scary’ – Simi speaks on
depression
Popular Nigerian
singer, Simi has opened up on her thoughts about the recent spate of
depression.
According to her,
the struggle to keep up and fear of failure amongst other things were
responsible for depression.
The 31-year-old
singer further described the increasing rate of depression these days as simply
“scary and sad”.
She said this after
a fan asked for her thoughts on the wave of depression, on Twitter.
“It’s scary and
sad. Especially for young men. The struggle to keep up. The fear of failure.
The desperate desire for validation. Very scary. I hope that we can let people
know it’s ok to share and lean on someone when things get too heavy,” Simi
tweeted in response.
Iyabo Ojo releases photos from her wedding and her marriage certificate
to discredit claims that she never got married
Iyabo Ojo has
released photos of her on her wedding day to dispute claims that she never got
married and has been deceiving her fans.
The actress slammed
the blogger who made the claims and also shared a video showing her marriage
certificate and all other documents that proves she got married in 1999 at the
age of 21.
Sharing the proof
of her wedding, she wrote:

situations.
A journey just come blogger called Kemi, NOT AUNTY KEM KEM OOOOOOOOO, decided
to discredit my Mother’s Day video. She emphasised in her write up that I was
never married and my ex partner was a carpenter (though she claimed all was
sent to her as usual) ?.... I saw her write up and chatted her up, sent my
marriage certificate, she read and ignored. Then other smallies started
blogging the story. When you land yourself in wahala now, you will say the
information came from my phone or maybe a PA sent it. Just for my true fans,
here is a video of my marriage certificate and my wedding pictures. Kemi
Ashefon, may you go through all I went through and worse than I did, when you
decide to tell your story, people will turn deaf ears and call you names... ori

"No to abortion" - Kunle Afod's wife reveals she gave birth
to all 4 kids via C-section and even tried to terminate her last pregnancy due
to lack of funds
Kunle Afod's wife,
Desola Afod, revealed she tried to have an abortion when she was pregnant with
her fourth child.
The mother-of-four
made this revelation while celebrating the second birthday of her last child,
Yiyenitemi.
She said she had
given birth to her first three sons via C-section. She didn't have money to
have a 4th operation to birth her fourth child so she tried to abort him.
Now, she's grateful
she didn't go through with the abortion and she's kicking against abortion by
advising against it.
Naira Marley's management reacts to reports the singer is yet to find
someone to stand surety for his bail
The management of
embattled singer, Afeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, has reacted to allegations
that the singer who was granted bail by a Lagos court on May 30th, is yet to be
released from prison because no one wants to stand as surety for him.
Reacting to the allegation,
his management in a post shared on his Instastories this morning, said there
are sureties already on ground to sign his bail but the delay in releasing the
singer is because the antigraft agency, EFCC, needs to verify the information
provided by the sureties and this takes time.
Naira Marley was
arrested on May 10th, his birthday. He was charged to court on 11-counts
of fraud and internet scam.
After spending 20
days in EFCC custody, he was granted bail in the sum of 2 Million
Naira with sureties with landed property in Lagos.
Halima Abubakar gives classy replies to followers who accused her of
bleaching (video)
Halima Abubakar has
reacted to accusations that she bleached her skin.
The actress shared
a footage from an old movie she featured in and followers pointed out that she
was still dark-skinned at the time but is now light-skinned due to bleaching.
Rather than give
aggressive replies, the actress gave classy replies to the trolls.
TV producer, Valentine Obilor recounts how SARS officers physically
assaulted him and falsely accused him of being a Yahoo boy (videos)
The human rights
abuse that has characterised the operations of SARS officials
has been brought to light once again as TV producer and music artiste,
Valentine Obilor, shared his own unpleasant experience with some SARS officers
in Lagos state over the weekend.
In a series of
videos he posted on his IG page, Valentine narrated how he was accosted by
SARS officers along Badore road in Ajah at about 12am and was asked where he
was going to. Despite informing them he was on his way to a friend's house for
a recording session, the SARS officers demanded to see his phone which he
refused. They used their guns to hit him, beat him up, fractured his hand
and accused him of being a Yahoo boy. According to Valentine, the SARS officers
said he must be a Yahoo Yahoo boy for wearing dreadlocks.
A visibly angry
Valentine wrote

Woman leaning over Beyonce at game shares photo of her and Bey to show
they are good but the Beyhive are not appeased
Nicole Curran, who
is the wife of Warrior owner, has shared a photo of her and Beyonce getting
along after the Beyhive attacked her for talking to Jay-Z.
In a trending
video, Nicole was seen leaning over Bey to talk to Jay-Z as they sat courtside
during a game last night.
This did not go down well with Beyonce and her body language indicated she
was irritated.
To defend their
queen, the Beyhive invaded every single one of Nicole's Instagram post,
starting from her very first IG post shared years ago to the most recent. They
left bee emojis and warned her to stop disrespecting Bey.
In reaction to the
attack, Nicole shared a photo of her helping adjust Bey's hair as they both sat
courtside with their husbands.
"We should all
help and support each other," she wrote.
But the Beyhive
were not appeased and they left more bee emojis on the post and posted more
warnings.
One web user wrote:
"It's above Beyonce now," and added bee emojis.
Another commenter
insisted she must release an apology video and added multiple bee emojis.
Following the
backlash, Nicole was forced to disable the comment on the post.

Is she gay? - Speed Darlington asks Nigerian singer, Teni after she
rocked a 'rainbow' coloured socks at an event in UK
Worldwide, the
month of June is known as the LGBT Pride Month and Nigerian singer, Teni
on Sunday while she performed at 'The Ends Festival' in UK rocked a rainbow
coloured socks.
Speed Darlington
spotted it and immediately began asking questions. According to him, 'Nigeria
is she gay? I mean lesbian? is she trying to tell us something'.
He went on to say, 'I
hope not because if she's openly gay that music no go pop again I know this for
sure Nigeria is a very religious country nobody is booking gay musician. She
going to need to move to white country for that'.
Speed Darlington shares weird message to celebrate Tonto Dikeh's birthday

put up a post to wish Tonto Dikeh a happy birthday but it's not your typical

The actress will be
