Nigerian Pop Star Twinchild Edozie Rocking The Stage At Carnival City, South Africa

Nigerian fast rising singer and songwriter Ugwunze Edozie Emmanuel popularly known as Twinchild Edozie is making waves in South Africa as he is constantly appearing in the big stages thrilling fans with some tracks from his newly released debut album titled New Dawn.

The album which features 15 tracks  among them are Tonight (Kwnangida), We Are The Ones, This I Promise You,  You Are Beautiful, Booty Club, Adanma, Gi Bu Nkem, Baby Baby among other tracks has been trending online since it was released online on Monday, 1st October, 2018 and since been getting positive reviews from fans and media sectors all over Africa and other parts of the world. 

The album which is garnished with different genres; AfroPop, RnB, HipHop, Dancehall, Highlife and many more is packed with sensational songs that will take Nigeria, Africa and the world by storm in days to come.

The Artist who is currently in South Africa is captured rocking it out in Bru's stage in Carnival City South Africa.

Nigerian Music Act Twinchild Edozie Finally Drops His Debut Album

Nigerian fast rising Music Act and Songwriter, Ugwunze Edozie Emmanuel popularly known as Twinchild Edozie who is currently residing in South Africa drops his highly anticipated debut album titled New Dawn.

In an exclusive interview with Naija Voice the Kwanangida coroner revealed that he has spent about ten years working on his musical career and believe this is time for him to announce himself to the world. He also took us into his world of art, where he explained in details his plan for the future with regards to his musical career and what he expects of the newly released album.

In his words:

“I have a very big plan for my musical career but I will have to take one step at a time. Right now the album is out online and that's what am focusing on. I have to promote it and get it out there. Am planning on media tours, and other PR that will help put New Dawn on every lips."

"I will also love to release the CDs in the market but before that i will like to drop some videos which am already working on.You should expect my visuals soonest, it is part of the PRs am embarking on at the moment to promote the album."

"Nigerians and the world should expect great songs from me because I want to step up Nigerian music”.

He also call on his fans and everyone who love good music to make sure they listen to his music as well as support him as much as they can by getting the album.

20 Ladies Allegedly Raped At Flavour's Concert In Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command said it has commenced investigation into the alleged rape of several ladies at a musical concert, which featured popstar, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour on Saturday.

The concert was held at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu.

The social media is buzzing with the allegation that over 20 ladies were raped, while some left the show naked with their dresses torn by some criminals.

Though the police only mentioned a case of attempted rape and stealing of phones and other crimes, witnesses lamented the rate ladies were raped.

The concert attracted a large crowd such that the venue could not contain the number of music fans who turned out for show.

This was mainly because the show allowed free entry for residents.

Another reason was that Flavour, the major attraction of the show, grew up in Enugu, where he has a large fan base.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, said in a statement on Sunday that the police had commenced investigation into the matter.

He said that already, a suspect was in custody for attempting to rape a lady at the concert.

He said, “The Enugu State Police Command, through its operatives at the Independence Layout Division, has commenced investigations into the alleged conduct of some people, ranging from attempt to gang rape a victim, as well as other offences, during a musical concert at the Michael Okpara Square.

“One person, who is already helping operatives in their investigation, has been nabbed for his alleged role in the attempt to gang rape a victim at the Square yesterday during the musical concert of a popular Nigerian musician.”

The PPRO, added that three others were arrested for allegedly stealing mobile phones during the event.

“Those arrested will be made to face the music in line with various provisions and specifications of the law after investigations,” he said.

Tekno fails his fans as Flavour, Styl-Plus thrill Abuja crowd 

The Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja was host to a number of Nigerian musicians Saturday night. Popular highlife performer Flavour graced the stage alongside crowd favourite Tekno Miles and veterans of the music industry, Styl-Plus.

Styl-Plus The concert organisers El-carnival and Play Network sold tickets at the rates of N1 million Naira for gold table, N2million for Platinum table and 7000 Naira for regular tickets.

The organisers pulled out an estimated crowd of 1000 fans into the Congress hall for the event. Styl-Plus first graced the stage with performances that rolled back the years. The music group performed different hits including, “Olufunmi” and “Imagine that” from the Expressions album and “four years” from the Back and Better album much to the delight of the Abuja crowd. One of the members of the group popularly known as Shifi, revealed his excitement to The News Agency of Nigeria.

He said “It is always great to perform in Abuja because this is home. This is where it all began”

. Flavour N’abania took his chance to excite the crowd with his performance and did not disappoint. The “Ada Ada” crooner got many people up and dancing to his popular tunes.

A fan who revealed her name as Isioma Okolo speakin of her excitement at watching one of her favourite artists perform said “My favourite Nigerian musician has done it again, I have been to some of his shows before and he raises the bar every time”.

Flavour seemed to raise the bar too high this time as he got off the stage to allow Tekno end the show. Tekno had the chance to impress the waiting and anticipating crowd. However, he let his Abuja fans down with his uninspiring performance as he murmured into the mic.

The singer was heard murmuring into the mic and sarcastically saying the money he was paid had finished, much to the disappointment of some of his fans. Mr Emmanuel Kevin who had come from Keffi, Nasarawa State to attend the show expressed his disappointment at Tekno. He said “It was disappointing to see.

I could hear him every time he instructed his DJ to change a song half way through performing it. He seemed to be rushing somewhere”. Another fan who preferred to be called Freda also expressed her disappointment in Tekno. “It was as if he did not want to be in Abuja”, she said. Tekno has been criticised in the past for his bad attitude towards his fans. This latest event will likely increase those criticisms.(NAN).
