Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s response to Boko Haram suicide bombings in Mandarari community in Borno State.

Buhari on Monday night expressed sadness over the attack and sent his condolences to victims of the Borno attack.

The president wrote “I commiserate with the families of the victims of yesterday’s Viewing Center bomb blasts in Mandarari, Konduga LGA of Borno State.

“My deepest condolences to all those affected.”

But, Omokri on his Twitter page condemned the President’s reaction, noting that residents of Borno do not need condolences but ‘Action’ against Boko Haram insurgents in the state.

The former presidential spokesman wrote: “Dear General Buhari, Borno people do not need COMMISERATION. They need ACTION.

“Last month, you went to Qatar to lie that Boko Haram were defeated.

“These are people that could have helped us defeat Boko Haram. But you LIED to look good to them.”

Meanwhile, Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) confirming the attack on Monday, said 30 persons lost their lives while 42 others were injured when three suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Mandarari community of Konduga local government area.

Jonathan’s ex-aide, Omokri under fire for saying Buhari for Muslims, Osinbajo for Christians

NEWS
Jonathan’s ex-aide, Omokri under fire for saying Buhari for Muslims, Osinbajo for Christians
Jonathan’s ex-aide, Omokri under fire for saying Buhari for Muslims, Osinbajo for Christians
Nigerians have come hard on Reno Omokri, a former News Media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan for allegedly working tirelessly to divide Nigeria along religious lines.

Youths who attacked Omokri on Twitter said he was trying to ignite a civil war in Nigeria while living in California with his family.

Omokri had written on his official Twitter page that President Muhammadu Buhari is for the Muslims while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was for Christians.

The comment sparked an outrage as he was accused of trying to turn the country’s dominant religions against each other.

Omokri had also claimed that President Buhari made efforts for the release of Zainab Aliyu, who was wrongly accused to have transported Tramadol to Saudi Arabia, because she was a Muslim while Leah Sharibu, a Christian who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists, was still in captivity.

Reacting to his claims, James Sunday Akinloye said Omokri was suffering from a self-induced post election traumatic stress disorder and that he needs to see a doctor.

He tweeted, “I must tell you that those who listen and follow Omokri are merely doing so to be entertained. We know Mr. Omokri don’t mean well for Nigeria. He only wants to ruffle things up so that the unsuspecting can ignite a violence in our country.

“He has forgotten so quickly that over 200 school girls were abducted during the Jonathan government and it took Buhari/Osinbajo to reunite most of them with their families.

He added that Mr. Omokri’s attempt to draw comparison between legitimate government and a terrorist sect was baseless to say the least. He urged Nigerians to steer clear of Omokri and his ilk.

Also reacting on Twitter, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who is the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Foreign Relations and Diaspora, said it’s not true that the Federal Government wasn’t working to have Leah Sharibu released.

“Leah’s case is different. She is held captive by terrorists. The Buhari administration is not leaving any stone unturned to get her back. We are optimistic she will return,” she said.

Similarly, another Twitter user, Bernard Okri, pointed out that both the President and Vice President do not represent the interest of any religious groups as they were both elected by Muslims and Christians.

“It’s petty that Mr. Omokri is trying to draw a religious divide in Nigeria just because he wants the country to burn. Nigerians should be weary of him and those who reside in the United States but are strategising to make Nigeria burn,” he said.

He also shamed Omokri for trying to draw Kiki Osinbajo, the daughter of the Vice President into the matter. “Mr. Omokri claims that he wants Ms. Sharibu rescued are lies. He takes pictures and brandishes the good life he is living but will never return to Nigeria to help free Leah Sharibu.”

Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, is expected to rejoin the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) today.

Omokri Blasts Buhari For Appointing Amaechi His Campaign DG

BREAKING NEWS
Omokri Blasts Buhari For Appointing Amaechi His Campaign DG
Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has alleged that Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation may use his position to fund President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election.
He said this while reacting to the appointment of the former Rivers State Governor as the Director General, DG, of Buhari’s re-election campaign.
Confirmation of Amaechi as campaign DG came to the fore in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary of the campaign organisation, Mohammed Dattijo. He equally announced the appointment of Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, as the official spokesman of the Buhari Campaign Organisation.
However, Omokri wondered why Amaechi has not resigned as a Minister, following his appointment as campaign DG.
In a tweet, on Tuesday, the former presidential aide maintained that combining the two portfolios would amount to conflict of interest for Amaechi.
The tweet reads, “How can @ChibuikeAmaechi be DG of the @MBuhari Reelection campaign as @MobilePunch reports and still retain his portfolio as minister of transport?
“Is that not a conflict of interest? Would it not present opportunity for Amaechi to use ministry funds for Buhari’s reelection?”

Buhari, EFCC Should Investigate Amaechi, Others In Omokri's List - Akanbi

BREAKING NEWS
Buhari, EFCC Should Investigate Amaechi, Others In Omokri's List - Akanbi
The pioneer Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission, ICPC, Justice Mustapha Akanbi (retd), has told the President Muhammdu Buhari-led government to act on the looters’ list released by Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Omokri had responded to the list of looters released by the Federal Government through the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed by dropping his own list which contained the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi and many others.
Speaking, Akanbi told Punch that Omokri’s list should not be waved aside but thoroughly looked into and handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for investigation.
He said, “The FG should respond to it and approach him for facts.
“FG should also investigate the allegations. Once somebody has been courageous enough to bring out a list, it should not be dismissed.
“They should look into it and examine it and if there is substance, prosecution should follow.
“It is easier for them to call people in their party who are included in the list to say: this is what has been said about you, can you defend yourself?
“They should give the list to the EFCC to investigate. The anti-graft agency should interview those whose names are on his (Omokri’s) list.”

Reno Omokri, former Goodluck Jonathan’s aide has further lambasted evicted Big Brother Naija 2018 participants, Teddy A and Bambam over their sexual escapades while on the reality television show.
Recall that Bambam was surprisingly evicted on Saturday while Teddy A was shown the way out of the reality show on Sunday after scoring the lowest votes.
While on the show, both former strategic partners were caught having sex in the toilet.
In a tweet, on Monday, the former presidential aide stressed that both Teddy A and Bambam would not have been evicted “if sex could bring success in life.”
According to the United States, US-based Pastor, “If sex could bring you success in life, BamBam and Teddy A would still be in the Big Brother House.
”It is better to be interesting than to be sexy. It is best to be submit to Godly principles than to submit to toilet sex.”

Reno Omokri Reacts To Buhari's Luther King's award, Calls Him Tyrant

BREAKING NEWS
Reno Omokri Reacts To Buhari's Luther King's award, Calls Him Tyrant
Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the award by Martin Luther Kings’ family to President Muhammadu Buhari.
This is as the children of Martin Luther King and the King Centre had purportedly dismissed granting any award to President Muhammadu Buhari few days ago.
Recall that some members of the African American civil rights leaders had on Tuesday given an award to Buhari in Abuja.
Responding to the award, the presidency in a tweet wrote: “President @MBuhari today at the State House received Martin Luther King Jnr’s family. He was also conferred with the 1st Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award 2018.
However, the King Centre has issued a statement denying that the award was issued by them or the children of the Martin Luther King.
Reacting, Omokri expressed joy that the family denied giving such award.
Omokri on his Twitter page wondered how Buhari, who he described as a tyrant, could be given a leadership award.
He tweeted “Thank God @TheKingCenter denied that they gave an award to Buhari or asked Nigerians to reelect him.
“I was wondering how Martin Luther King‘s family will visit Nigeria to give an award to a tyrant!
“Their father had a dream and they came to Nigeria to associate with a nightmare?”

No Amount Of Reno's Diatribe And Gibberish Will Deter Buhari, Osinbajo - Abdullahi Haruna

BREAKING NEWS
No Amount Of Reno's Diatribe And Gibberish Will Deter Buhari, Osinbajo -
Abdullahi Haruna

Someone should please tell Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to an ex-president that no amount of malicious outburst on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo can shrink the respect Nigerians have for a man who is touted as one of the most venerated public office holders in the chequered history of Nigeria’s democracy. Omokri, instead of brandishing his envenomed guilt without remorse or debasing a government that has repositioned the country for greater prosperity, should throw tirades at those ghosts that perpetually haunt him and his principal as a result of the debaucheries perpetuated by them.
Nigerians don’t understand why Omokri does not see anything good about a government that has achieved within three years, what his principal could not in six years. As one of the spokesmen to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, a man who superintended a government that reeked with filth and sleaze, each time Omokri writes, his ink ventilates foul smell in form of brazen lies that often lack lustre. Recently, he has gotten for himself a new job and that job is to throw random, vapid vituperations on the person of Vice President Osinbajo.
Nigerians were very much aware how Goodluck’s regime birthed fashionable corruption and christened it a new name. It was an era where stealing was not regarded as corruption. Corruption during Jonathan’s regime was like an abandoned public lavatory, it was riddled with maggots of different sizes, and when opened, it oozes nauseating smell. Nigerians should therefore understand why Reno Omokri cannot freely breath each time one of the chimneys to the lavatory is open. Recently, Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, opened the tiniest vault to the lavatory and as expected, Reno Omokri could not stand the unpleasant smells it ventilate. Laolu had said: “We have a situation where a former first lady came out openly to claim over $171m found in her accounts and you think Nigerians will simply overlook that.”
Reacting, Omokri in his usual demeanour, threw a pointless dart into the air, thinking that his enemies were domiciled in the sky. In his bid to defend a government that was known for buffoonery and corruption, Omokri keeps ridiculing himself and revealing the inherent mutability of character of a man who arrogated himself the status of a Pastor. He spewed thus: “First of all, there is no former First Lady from the Jonathan administration that has claimed $171 million in a bank account. Upon a promise of a suit for libel, I challenge Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to name that person.” Even if Omokri has lost all his senses due to the fact that he benefitted enormously from a regime that was notoriously unpopular, but popularly notorious for its corruption, the remnant of his senses should remind him that there was only one first lady during Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s regime, and that was Mrs. Dame Patience Jonathan.
Omokri, admitted that Vice President Osinbajo mentioned the discovery of $43.4 million, a money starched in one of the rooms at the Osborne Towers in Ikoyi, Lagos by Ambassador Ayo Oke. Someone should please remind the Defender General of Corruption (DGC) that Ambassador Oke was one of the seeds of corruption planted by former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and if anything, Omokri should applaud the current regime for their tenacious and daring commitment towards removing all the vestiges of corruption planted by the past regimes. For record purpose, Ambassador Oke, the sacked Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) was appointed by Goodluck Jonathan on November 7, 2013 but was sacked by President Buhari on October 30, 2018 following his bounteous involvement in the Osborne Towers scandal.
Did Omokri equally accuse Professor Osinbajo of being ‘silent’ about the alleged corrupt case involving the immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal? Someone should please activate Omokri’s memory. Vice President Osinbajo was the Chairman of the Panel that recommended the immediate sack of Babachir, how else does the overtly benighted and disillusioned Omokri want the Vice President to exercise his eloquence on anti-corruption? Curious minds would ask why Babachir has not been charged to court. We should not be oblivious of the fact that the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria defines how certain powers are exercised. It should be noted that neither the President nor the Vice President has the right to interfere or hinder any investigation as the constitution does not offer them such power. The onus of prosecution lies with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC); where and when they have reasonable grounds to charge former and serving officers to court under laws, they do not require the permission of the President or his Vice to do so.
There are indications that the Buhari-led administration is committed to fighting corruption, and he is winning where Omokri’s principal had failed woefully. Omokri who served the most corrupt regime in our history lacks the locus standi to even run any form of commentary on corruption because his principal is a symbol of how not to fight against corruption. Figures published by the EFCC, reveal that N738.9 billion was recovered in just two years of Buhari’s regime and bulk of these monies were siphoned by the same government Omokri is striving hard to defend, forgetting that it is always impossible to carve a good image out of rotten wood.
Those who know Omokri, understand how desperate the self-ordinated pastor could be. Instead of dissipating energy to burnish the battered and plummeted image of his principal, Omokri now finds solace in throwing tactless tirades on the Vice President and the government that is working so hard to repair all that they destroyed. In order to give dog a bad name so that he can be hanged, Omokri had quoted Aisha Yesufu, who described Professor Osinbajo as her ‘greatest disappointment’.
Few background information will explain why Aisha, the co-founder of BringBackOurGirls is greatly disappointed with Vice President Osinbajo and the Buhari-led administration. Students of history would recall that Aisha rode to stardom on the account of failure of the past regime in tackling the menace of Boko Haram. However, the commitment of the present administration to fighting terrorism has hauled her to the back seat of activism, thereby deflating the undeserved relevance she garnered during Goodluck’s regime. One option to Omokri and Aisha, his co-traveller will suffice – they should go get themselves decent jobs. Specifically, Aisha should change the direction of her activism because majority of the girls that were kidnapped by Boko Haram during Goodluck’s regime have been brought back.
No amount of worthless diatribe and gibberish from Reno Omokri and his ilk, can stop the revolution being championed by President Muhammadu Buhari and his co-rider, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. The Change Mantra is like a moving train, nothing can stop it.

Reno Omokri Lashes At Osinbajo, Says He Fears Buhari, Tinubu More Than He Fears God

BREAKING NEWS
Reno Omokri Lashes At Osinbajo, Says He Fears Buhari, Tinubu More Than He Fears God
Reno Omokri, former President Goodluck Jonathan’s aide, has lashed out at the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
Omokri alleged that the Vice President fears President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, national leader, Bola Tinubu more than God.
The United States, US-based Pastor insisted that Osinbajo’s fear for those men was responsible for his lies to Nigerians.
In a tweet, the former presidential aide stressed that Osinbajo cannot displease both men he described as “godfathers.”
Omokri wrote: “The main problem facing Vice President @ProfOsinbajo is that he fears @MBuhari and @AsiwajuTinubu more than he fears God.
“That is why he can lie to displease God and please his godfathers.
“We will all die if Jesus does not tarry, and face judgment before God and not before Buhari.”

Peace Corps Bill: There's Money For Cattle Colonies But No Money For Peace Corps - Reno Omokri

Peace Corps Bill: There's Money For Cattle Colonies But No Money For Peace Corps - Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, on Thursday berated President Muhammadu Buhari for rejecting the Peace Corps bill.
The United States based pastor blasted Buhari for saying there was no money to fund the Corps but is allegedly trying to fund the establishment of cattle colonies.
In a tweet, Omokri wrote: “The same President Buhari that wants Nigeria to use public funds to build cattle colonies for his Fulani kinsmen is the same President Buhari who rejected the Peace Corp Bill because he says there’s no money. There‘s money for cattle colony, but no money for peace. Well done sir!”
Recall that Buhari had on Tuesday, in a letter, cited security concerns as reasons for withholding assent to the bill seeking to establish Peace Corps.
But reacting to Buhari’s rejection of the bill, the Corps Commandant, Dickson Akoh alleged that the same people who “fought” the Peace Corps bill prior to its passage by the National Assembly advised the President against giving assent to the bill.
